A six-and-a-half kilometre, two-hour loop begins at Amanera and ascends the mountain ridge behind the resort. Descend through lush rainforest to end of Playa Grande and conclude with a walk back along its peaceful shores. Ten percent of the Nature Hike’s earnings are donated to support the hotel’s environmental and social initiatives.
A two-and-a-half kilometre oceanfront walk begins in the centre of the small fishing village Rio San Juan. Stroll along the urban shores of playa Los Minos, renowned for its tapestry of interlinking bays, lapped by crystal-clear turquoise waters. Wade along the shore to reach a detached piece of land and continue the walk on the rugged coastline to Playa Gri Gri, El Ponton, Playa de Los Enamorados and Playa Caleton.
